Has anyone experienced a water leak around their back window? I just bought a used 08 F250 PSD. I hadn't drove it much until today. I jumped in it to run up the road and noticed the headliner right above the sliding back glass was soaked. I don't see where the water is coming in. I took the cargo light off, thinking it might be leaking there and under it was completely dry. If anyone has ever had a problem please let me know. Thanks.

This is the first compliant that have I have heard about water leak around the rear window. It is probably a leak around a mounting gasket. A glass replacement shop should be able to find it if your basic Ford truck warranty has expired.
You did not mention if you had clearance lights or satellite radio antennae. on the roof as these could be a source of a water leak.
I just noticed it today, I am going to have it looked at Monday. The truck has 43000 miles on it, i dont think that is still covered under the warranty is it? I agree that it needs to be pulled apart to make sure they cure the leak completely. I plan on having this truck for a while and dont want it rusting prematurely.
I purchased a third party 3 year/36,000 mile warranty when I purchased the truck. I am not sure if that is covered, but i am hoping. I tried to call them today, but their office was not open. I am crossing my fingers and hoping it is covered under that warranty. What are the chances it might be the cargo light leaking?
Yes, I do have clearance lights. No, it is not still under warranty. I did buy a third party warranty that I hope will cover it. Hopefully, I can take it Monday and have it fixed.
Well, I took the truck to the auto glass place today. The leak turned out to be the cargo light. The auto glass place pulled the headliner down and when they put water on it, it poured in. I had them fix the problem and now it should be good to go. Thanks for all the help.
Mine has never leaked but i was throwing some stuff in the bed one day and looked up at the 3rd brake light and it looked like a fish tank..there was water sloshing around in there that covered up the bulb.....i dont know how it didnt leak or how it didnt blow the bulb but i emptied it out and it hasnt filled up since ??
