I have a 06 f150 supercab, I am wanting to bring the front up a little, without putting a suspension kit on, I have a short bed with a cap on it so there is a little weight on the back. I was wondering who made a good leveling block and the best place to get a set? Also how hard is it to install and the stuff involved with installing them, hope someone can help out, Thanks.
topguncustomz.com has a strut lift for $79. All you'll need to do is get an alignment afterwards. Easy installation. 2.5 inches post your before and after pics
Thanks guys, I take it you all have them on your trucks, Have you guys had any problems with them wearing down anything else? Or does it prettty much not affect the way the truck drives and runs? How long and involved are they to put on? Thanks again.
I installed a HELL BENT 2.5" leveling kit on my '05 SuperCab and it went on easy. Excellent quality, easy instructions, and great guys to deal with on the phone. This kit goes above the strut assembly; So there is no taking the strut apart, and there is no change in the ride quality. They are reasonably priced tgrough them on ebay or their online store. You do have to have your truck aligned afterwards, like you do with any kit.
Im intrested in semi leveling my 08 Lariat SC 4x4, I do tow a 28ft 6500lb boat in the summer and was wondering if the truck will sag if I try a leveler of some sort? I know there is a 2" and 2.5" kit out there, was leaning twoards the 2" kit, plus I have two dirtbikes I carry sometimes also, and dont want the truck to be nose high when traveling. Any suggestions....Thanks in advance. O and which kit is a good one.
I put on a 3 inch front leveling block from hell bent steal on my truck not to long ago. Took about 2 hours on the first side and 1.5 hours on the other side. I dont do much truck work so thats why it took so long. I know a little bit but after that I was like wow it was that easy. Hardest part was breaking the old nuts and bolts loose. You need like a 30 mm socket or something like that and we didnt have one so that was are biggest set back. Bored some torque wrenches from my buddy to put it all back together. Really easy. But with the 3 inch my truck sat 3/4 of an inch taller in the front then the back which was ok cause I was putting add a leafs on the back in two days. Still rides great and looks great too. I would recommend them to anyone and really easy to install.

2" for your purposes...especially as you'll be towing/hauling
the 2.5" will set you exactly level, or slightly nose high.
for some reason the 07+ trucks seem to gain more height than the 04-06 trucks...think it has something to do with the rear leafs...but not sure
I just want to point this out because I wasn't aware of it until I did some searching in the forums yesterday. Bilstein makes a front strut that allows you to position the spring higher on the strut to achieve stock height or 1" or 2" lift on the front end. I bought a 2" AS leveling kit, but I'm going to go with the Bilstein struts instead.
