If you dont want to cut your trucks dash to pieces you should take a look at this company they make a radio to fit in the original opening in the dash of our trucks.

heck... my old original carb float sticks every now and again.... i just hit the gas harder, or i tap on the carb with a screew driver seems to work pretty good... but then again its only 20 bucks or so for the rebuild kit lol...

what ive done for my stereo is put a RCA deck in the glove box... and just have some really small house speakers under the front edge of the seat... but honestly i cant hear the stupid thing unless the motor is off... so half the time, it only gets used when we are sitting on the back of the bed, waiting for our turn with the rifle....

ive started to plan my stereo a little bit more though, i plan on putting one 6x9s in each door, then ive started to build a center console that houses the cd player{will also have the connections for hooking up my Ipod} and have a drink holder and a ciggerett lighter plug in, and house two 6 inch speakers on each side... and this sits to the passenger side of the transmission hump... so i can still shift, and i still have plenty of foot room and screw the passengers, ive also desided on something like a smaller bazooka tube some place behind the seat for the deeper tones...}

with the way im doing all of this, i dont cut the dash up, and the speakers going into the doors will be put into a set of used access panels... so far, i think my idea will work... now i just need to get some money to buy everything to finish it out...
