glow plugs

about how long will it take to change out the glow plugs on my 99' f-350??? just curious to know what i am getting myself into

Depends on your wrenching abilities. Plan on a few hours if you've never done it before. Passenger's side is a bit tougher than the driver's side.

What Curtis said. I was a virgin when I did mine this summer, took a couple hours. Changing the GP's out is the easy part, the biotch of the job is getting to all the valve cover bolts- extensions and wobble joints are your friend!

Check your UVCH carefully. I ended up breaking mine. Also, be VERY careful with the zip ties on the harness. I broke most of mine and they disappeared into the dark abyss haha. Took my over 5 hrs because i had to go to the international dealer at 10:30 pm for new UVCH harnesses. Use a samll tube to suck the oil around the gps out too. Don't want oil draining back into the heads
