All of the above methods will work better than nothing at all.
And gunk on top of the batteries can and will cause a power drain. Keep em clean.
I don't have any Fluid Film.
However I do have a fool proof plan for getting Wally to replace Everstart batteries within the 3 year period.

if you are unsure about your connections on the battery terminals you can do a voltage drop test, if you have a multimeter, by placin one lead on the post and the other on the terminal itself. you should see zero voltage across the two but if you do read voltage that means you have a poor connection.

good tip

Truck was not starting easy in mornings. Was just about to got out and buy batteries, but first I did voltage test. Sure enough, terminals were not making a good connection although connections looked not too corroded..
