if you are unsure about your connections on the battery terminals you can do a voltage drop test, if you have a multimeter, by placin one lead on the post and the other on the terminal itself. you should see zero voltage across the two but if you do read voltage that means you have a poor connection.
Truck was not starting easy in mornings. Was just about to got out and buy batteries, but first I did voltage test. Sure enough, terminals were not making a good connection although connections looked not too corroded..
