Well, the cat that was on it is fine, and the other one is on there too now. I just need to go get some clamps and I'm going to take it for another test. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
Alright well it's got stickers on it, but only because in PA you can get a waiver. It passed HC this time but CO actually went up. I'm wondering if this could be due to the CRC stuff still being in the fuel, and cleaning the carbon of the valves during the test. Either way, I can drive it now.
Well if anyone cares, I think I figured it out. After checking all the sensors and such, it came down to the EGR being weird. Sure enough, I checked it against my F150 and it was stuck about a quarter inch open. Took it off, cleaned it up and put it back on and now the truck runs like new, idles smooth as glass. Hopefully this will solve my mileage issue as well. Now I have no codes other than 85, which is not all too important, but I'll replace that with a used one sometime.

glad to hear ya got it figured out... personally i wish theyd just loose the EGR's... my s10's had problem after problem with that thing...
Another update: I finally figured out the mileage issue. As it would turn out, my fuel pressure was still high, like 60psi, finally got to check it today. Beings as the FPR is new, I checked the return line by disconnecting it at the first spot under the cab, started the truck back up, and the pressure was right around 30. So it was blocked, I traced it back to the rear tank and found the line was kinked, I unkinked it, put everything back together and now the pressure is right where it should be, and the truck runs the best it has yet. I hope that finally this problem has been solved.
