Cable ID help

A passenger recently kicked loose a cable from the right front footwell, under the dashboard and I cannot find out where it connects to.

The truck is a 2006 F250 XLT Supercab with 4wd. Everything appears to work correctly in it, as of now.

The cable is black, has a Motorola type male plug on the loose end, and the other is bonded with a black synthetic 'patch' to the right side of the cab, well underneath of the dashboard and it appears to be a grounding system. It reaches the radio in length, but partial disassembly of the dash comfirms that this isn't the orange radio antenna cable.

Any ideas?

Is there any sort of ID number on this cable? It could be on a paper tag that's glued to the cable (wire harness) itself.

Open the passenger door--does the dome lamp comes on? Try the power window and door lock switches on the passenger door to see if they work.

If none of that helps, contact FTEpartsguy (Ed Olson @ PARR FORD in Bremerton WA), ask him the question and provide your VIN number.

Ed's link is on this page among the sponsors.

All functions and accessories work. There is no job tab or order number on it. There is no aftermarket stuff installed on it, since I bought it new from the dealer.

Thanks for the connect to Ed Olson! I'll give him a call tomorrow.
