I have a '79 Ford remote CB made by Motorola and I need some help figuring out how to hook it up. It has no apparent speaker! Does it tie into a stock '79 Ford radio and use that speaker?

Has anyone seen one of these? It looks well made and is still in the original box!

Jason no ill intended, but if you put a brick on that thing it can make a good door stop. The remotes never worked well. If a cb is in your future buy a Cobra, or President, and a good antenna, because that is where the difference is.

My 83 T-Bird had one of those remote CB's in it when I bought it from my Dad. I pulled it out to mount in my one ton but haven't got it done yet.
I never used the CB when it was in the Bird because I installed a Cell-Phone, but I think the mike is also the speaker.

Been there, done that.

 

 

Thanks. I currently have a nice Cobra SSB. I was just thinking that since I don't actually use the SSB that it would be nice to have the box out of sight. It's in my Jeep and summertime no top makes the CB a bit too enticing for would be "next owners"
