Original Radio Manufacturer 52 Ford F1

Does anyone know who the manufacturer of the original AM radio was in the 52 Ford F1's? Mine on the side says Motorola, can this be right?

Thanks,

Jon Preston

My shop manual says for 1949 and 1950 the manufacturer was Zenith. In 1951 it was Colonial. I have a 1952 Supplement to the manual but it doesn't detail the radio.

Wish I had more info for you.

Well, after some research I found out that Motorola was an American company founded in 1928 and went public in 47. They worked with Zenith to design some of the early radios. Pretty cool info.
