Injector Shopping

Hey Guys,

If my cards play out right I am going to try to upgrade my injectors this March but I cannot break the bank on them. I know Hybrids are really recommended but I cannot afford 2200 dollars for them I also will need to hold back some money to get Jody to tune them. I have seen some good deals on Stage 1s I possible might a chance to get some DPP Stage 2s that are used but thats a slight chance if the man doesn't change his mind. I am not planning on going anyfarther then a modified HPOP and injectors . I just want a little bit more powe i'd be happy in the 350 or so range.

Jdecker what are your mods now?

What would it take to get to that whp range? Is hp really that important in atruck, I thought it was torque that mattered.

My injectors were 1580.00 to my door, plus the 800.00 core change. I already got the core charge back. I was going to get the new injectors, but Adam told me that most people get the reman ones. I also saved enough to have the tuning done.

So far so good. Take your time on the install and torque everything. I was lucky to have Roland and Chris help with my install.

Good luck with this JD. Keep us informed. I still have the vid of my install in my computer. I wish I had someone that knew how to help me put it on here.

I think you can upload them to photobucket and then just provide a link to them for us.

I have never been to photobucket, I guess I need someone to help me do this. Do I have to join that site in order to do this?

Stage II Single Shot Injectors

That is the set of DDPs that I was talking about getting used.

I was looking at your yesterday Rick and I have been very pleased from what I have read from your reports but I am interested in the Hybrids because they actually use less oil then stock. I think I would be covered on help for this install I do believe .

For photobucket (like youtube) you'd need to join the site/setup an account, similar to what you did for joining FTE. I know Brent (powerstrokedlariat) made a comment about youtube making his videos all grainy, but I'm not sure that photobucket would be any better.

I'm hoping for some hybrids someday too, no telling when though. Too much other stuff to address first... JD you might try to get in touch with Ryan Casserly also, I hear he can build a good injector.
