Lets just say I wasn't paying real close attention and hit the garage door and pushed the bottom section off it's hinges.

UUGGGHHH! My stepson's grandfather did the same thing twice. He just got the door fixed last week. Sorry to hear about that!

I always liked to do all that at least weekly.If I didn't file everything daily I would have some long nights on weekends.But doing it that way I could at any given time through the year tell where i stood

Back when fuel was $1.25 my fuel bill would $10k to $12k a month

yep four trucks will do that,then figure another 1/3 for tires

yea Sheldon it almost seemed I worked 7 days a week to make others wealthy

An excavator that I know had a kid operate a front loader with one of the tires very low. The tire was something like $2500 IIRC

yea the big tires are expensive I imagine a 23.5 x 25 would be at least that today my steering tire were $750 10 years ago

That's a different way to measure tread depth on a tire.

Jake,
That sucks. Look at it this way, it could be a lot worse. I've done stuff like that before and I feel really dumb about it for a few days and then move on.

Tristan,
I spent nearly half that on diesel alone in 24 weeks last year just going to work, none of which I can write off.

Ray,
10K to 12K at $1.25!! Imagine that bill at $5 that it was last year.
