I've seen many trucks with the dash moldings and no padded dash.
Whatever Dave (Garbz) says, I'll tend agree with him (at least on this issue!).

I've never seen those mouldings without a padded dash, and AFAIK, all the Custom Cabs came with padded dashes.

Another member to ask is camperspecial65, because has the 1965 FoMoCo salesmans data & facts book.

For the Custom Cab package composition on F100s and F250s look in my gallery...pics from a dealers salesman book are in there ....

As for the door handle CC plates...Those were used ONLY on the 63 and 4 trucks WITHOUT the side moldings...The trucks WITH the side moldings got the Custom Cab door script in the same spot as on 65 and 6 models
Additionally, on 1964s with the CC package the chrome dash bezel was an option within the package...among other things...my best guess is it would have been the same on prior year models as well....

The above info except for my guess on prior year equipment is from the 1964 Ford Truck Facts Book...published in September, 1963
