Thanks ND.My F600 has the chrome handle guards, alum. grill and headlight bezels, R/L sunvisoors, Rt side vent, foam rubber seat..I can see the foam where the cover is torn. No dash pad, I'll have to look for the mouldings the next time I dig my way out it through the snow. it does also have cigg lighter and rubber floor mat.
Being new to these trucks I was wondering if mine was a Custom Cab, or if someone had just added the chrome handle guards at some point.
So with the above Items I listed, I am gathering this unit must have been ordered with the Custom Cab package??
Hang on to those door handle pieces those are really rare. As for the padded dash my buddy has one on his and I have to say I really like the look without it. It looks too out of place with it being the only vinyl in the truck. JMO but just the chrome strip looks classier to me.

Custom Cab it is.
You don't see too many F600 Custom Cabs. While Ford made them, they were rare back then and are super rare today.
While we were on vacation last May (heading SW to the F100 SuperNats in Knoxville), we stopped in the town of Cherokee NC near where the Blue Ridge Parkway ends for a bite to eat, and there it was.
A 1965 F600 Custom Cab dump truck.
I had to stop and look it over, outside of a broken windshield, it was all there, but hadn't been driven in a long time.
The foam rubber used back then was not up to the standards of today. It sagged, it cracked, so...many of the padded dashes were removed.

The only other set I have seen in real life are bolted to red 66 short bed in Demming New Mexico in a wrecking yard. I was there about 7 or 8 years ago to pull a cleveland out of an old wreck and spotted them glimmering in the back. I tried to buy them but the owner of the junk yard told me it was his nephews truck and nothing was for sale on it. His nephew showed up and was pizzed off that his uncle sold his 351, the one I was pulling. While they fought it out with each other, I did the fastest wrecking yard pull ever and got the heck out of there. I wasn't about to ask the guy about the guards, I am pretty sure he wanted that motor for that 66.
Dash pad Standard on Custom Cabs, optional on Standard Cabs.
Going to disagree with you on this one, Bill.
My truck has the moldings, but no dash pad. Ask Garbz if he thinks mine ever came with one.
I say the moldings are simply to trim out the 2 tone on the dash of my truck (which they do).
I've seen many trucks with the dash moldings and no padded dash.
