New Tow Mirrors

IIRC, tow mirrors from any Superduty right up to the current '09 model should fit your truck. Now, the only thing to consider is whether you need heat, power, turn signals. Your truck being a 2000, it might not have the factory harness for the extras on some of the newer models, you'll probably have to pull the interior panels and check. Of course, you should be able to hook those things if you want, it just means a little more work on your part. Check e-bay, Craigslist or our own FTE parts guy. Good luck.

I had a 2000 F250 and it had the tow mirrors with power glass adjustment. It did not have power slide or fold, though. If your stock mirrors have power adjustments, I would think your wiring will also work with the tow mirrors. Come to think of it, seems like those mirrors were also heated. All I know is that I had to replace the driver's side mirror because someone clipped me on a narrow bridge. I didn't want to break the door panel, so I just cut the wires and put the new one on. Of course I no longer had power adjustment or heat, but how often do you really adjust the mirror glass anyhow?
On a side note, I have the power telescoping/folding mirrors on my 2008. These are some awesome mirrors. If I ever have to replace one of these mirrors, I will do it the right way.
