I saw a truck yesterday that looked like a bronco but four door. It said F-350 custome on the side. I was told it was a 95. Ive never seen anything like it. I was wondering if this was a production truck that there wasnt very many made of or if this is a one of kind that someone extended. Anyone know what im talking about?
When I saw those, I wanted one too.
I am a Bronco nut, that's why.

BTW, 6Clybill, how is your 2003 3.0 Escape (in sig) holding up?
We just bought an 05, and I am learning about it as I go.
Back to thread.
Having a four door Bronco body on an F-350 chassis would be nuts!
I don't think any Expedition would beat it!
Imagine if it had a 7.3 in it.
There is an 87-91 body style bronco/truck thing like that sitting in a field around here, the body looks straight, paint is crap but i dont see much rust. As far as i know it just sits there. How rare are these? I may see if the owner would part with it if its worth it.

Our 3.0L Escape is holding up very well. The only problems we have had are the AC going out (that one was costly) and a coil pack going out. The escape has over 50K on the odo.
Otherwise I have nothing but good to say about this little SUV. It is peppy, eager to please, comfortable, and is roomy for a small SuV. It has hauled three dogs, one bird, a grown adult and cargo multiple times running from Hurricains. I have a soft spot for the Escape.
I think you will agree it is a good little machine. And the 3.0L sounds good winding up!
centurions are just big aftermarket cobbled up vehicles.
lightnings are about the only ford truck of this era that is rare.
rare is like hero. it should be used sparingly.
look at it this way: if five or ten are sold of a vehicle because it was not wanted does that make it rare or just not good?
I don't see your point, quick. You're going over my head tonight.
Why do you say cobbled up? From all of the pictures I have seen, these rare beasts look pretty nifty to me. I would love to own a 4-door Bronco.
I started to say I've seen many more Gen1 Lightnings than I have these 4-door Broncos, but after a thought I realized I have never seen one of these trucks. To me, these Bronco's are rare.
Hard to find/few made is rare. You seem to be talking about desirability Quicklook2.
Plymouth Superbirds were rare when new because they were expensive and odd looking compared to other cars - believe it or not they weren't desirable.Stories of Superbirds sitting in dealer showrooms until nearly the mid-'70s are out there. Now the low numbers and cool unique looks make them some of the most desirable musclecars out there.
Granted a four door Bronco is not gonna cause a sensation in all probability but they have to be rare-not many out there.Desirability mixed with rarity is what makes vehicles expensive.
A '57 Chevy is desirable but not rare. A Henry J is rare but not necessarily desirable. The Superbird example is rare and desirable.
just the other day i saw an ad in the autotrader that listed an 87? bronco centurion 4-door thing AND a 6-door f-350 both with the 7.3....$40000 for the pair!
