Fuel fill rate

I'm afraid the idea of the charcoal canister or lines to it being stopped up is not gonna be your problem, after all it is what maybe 3/8 line at the most? No way it could vent enough to allow filling the tank..
Take a look at item #4 below, that is the fuel filler hose that goes to the tank, it is probably 1 1/2 inches in dia. there is a 5/8 or so hose inside it that is the fuel filler vent..

I have the same problem on my 88 F250. One day the front tank just became a nitemare trying to fill it up. I find I have the best result if I turn the nossel upside down and fill at the slowest setting. As Whitey mentioned. I figured it must have something to do with the vent tube that runs inside the filler hose.
