I just replaced my hubs with Waren Prem. cause I thought my hubs were shot and now believe that it is the Tcase motor. I started looking around and Ford wants like 450$ for one HOLY BS! I found a few on the net for cheaper any advice on which way to go??
From what I've read and what happened to me was when the actuator motor stops working the light on the dash no longer illuminates.
I assume when the vacuum system stops working, the only indicator is the by-passing vacuum to the heater vents.
The vacuum is still working when your ac goes to defrost. This means you have a vacuum leak in the vacuum lines going to the hubs. Look at these lines and make sure you don't have a leak. If you can stand outside your truck and turn the switch to 4x4 and hear the motor run, all is good on that side.
It will go into 4wd bout once a month and and it goes into 4 low about twice a month. Before it started being WAY speratic Ive had it not dis-engauge and had to tap on it to get it to dis-engauge.
