Button behind mirror???
I own a 2007 F-150 and I noticed a botton behind the mirror and I can't figure out what it does. It's killing me, I gotta know.
Can anybody help?

No, it's on a little box behind the mirror it has electrical wires running to it. The button is on top of the box on the left hand side.

If you have a temp display, it might toggle US standard and metric measurements.
Either that or the box is actually a camera, and every time you hit the button it stores a pic for the dealer to download.

You check the owner's manual?
It should tell you what it does, unless it's an aftermarket item.

Couldn't find anything in the manual about it, but I held the button down for about 3 seconds and the word "zone" came up on the display.
I feel better now that I know it has an actual function. Now
I gotta figure out what "zone" means.......
Thanks for the help

it is for setting the compass. look in the owners manual, under calibrating the compass, and it will tell you how to do it, and what the button functions are. you need to set your proper geographic zone for the compass to work properly.
