Side mirror 2013 f350

I broke the plastic piece behind the passenger side mirror and Ford wants $1200 for new mirror. They said they do not sell the part alone only the whole mirror. Any ideas where I can get the part?

A pickup truck should not have a mirror that cost that much!!

Maybe one of these is right?
