Aren't most of these cash rebates all contingent on buying a vehicle off the dealers lot? In that, say you ordered one and got it before the rebate expired you would NOT be able to take advantage of the current incentive?
I have always had any rebates applied to vehicles purchased (have always ordered), that were currently running. Unless specifically stated 'dealer stock only'... you should be ok.
I got rebates on mine.....and it was ordered....however they did tell me that if the rebates ended before delivery then it would not qualify...
What a bunch of crap that is. The fact that you ordered the vehicle during the specified period should be good enough to qualify for the rebate. Not doubting what you said, it's just not right.
i remember when i ordered a mercury cougar, they had what they called a "rebate lock in" where the day i ordered the car the rebate would only get better not worse, but when i ordered my f150 ford would not do the same thing!
when i bought my '08, i had the option of pre ordering an '09. i never, but if i had, i could have gotten the family plan discount, plus any other discounts that were on at time of ordering or recieval. the only thing i wouldn't have got was the delivery allowance discount.
Ford has two types of dealers...Contact...and...Select. Currently "payment" is guaranteed on factory orders with a select dealer. These are smaller dealers who don't carry a lot of inventory. In essence...this means that rebates are guaranteed on vehicles ordered from the Select dealer...whether it is a rebate...or...a low finance rate. They are not guaranteed on orders from a Contact dealer.
Of course...if the programs become better at time of delivery...you qualify for the better programs.

I was wondering the same thing. The rebate states: "#11620:Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 1/5/2009."
This sounds like the rebate only applies to vehicles currently on the lot, rather than ordered vehicles.
