Dealer is offering an additional 4k off Msrp ford loyalty bonus cash if you currently own or lease 1995 or newer ford truck. How does the dealer verify ownership in order to get this rebate?
My son in law recently took advantage if this. He bought a 2016 2.7 4x4 SuperCrew XLT Sport for $14k off sticker. Cheaper than most late model used ones out ther right now.
The loyalty bonus rebate is nice! But it's not 4k nice. More like $750, '16 only. There is a renewal bonus for leasing the '17 though, $1500 there if you're renewing from an F150 and $750 from another Ford.

So if I am coming out of my '15 F150 I will get to use the $1500 renewal but I guess I cannot get the $750 renewal too. Assuming it is one or the other.
It was not $4k in San Antonio. I can go back and look at any date and see any zips area. What most likely happened is they gave him the rebate and also gave him a discount and he was under the impression it was all owner loyalty. $4k for a single loyalty rebate has never happened.

Well S**t. I wonder why that doesn't show up on a VINCENT. Certainly that warrants some additional research on my part. Makes sense why TX deals always look good. Would almost be worth renting an apartment for a week to claim!
Ahh.... okay... so it IS showing now, though I honestly didn't see it this morning... HOWEVER, here in PA the regular rebate is much higher and the loyalty rebate is lower. So if you are a loyal F150 owner you get about $1000 more off the truck than what you could buy one living here. However, if you don't have a 95 or newer truck, you're sorta in the hole several thousand bucks. Marketing fun!
Yeah. It was lucky for him as his '06 F150 with a 5.4 3V melted a piston in the No. 1 cylinder. The loyalty rebate just started the day before.
He was only able to get $1k for that truck. So the $4k loyalty rebate helped soften the blow.
It was a nice Lariat SC 2wd with 110k miles. But a quote from a Ford dealer and an independent shop were for $8k and $9k for a reman 5.4 installed minus any extra parts needed. Couldn't find a good used 5.4 3V in the state at the time. That engine will go down as one of Fords mistakes.
I suppose now is a good time to remind folks that it doesn't matter where you buy your truck, rebates are based on your home zip code. I learned that selling a 4x4 Escape to my aunt and uncle in NC. Took me a few minutes to realize why the rebates were crap. They didn't get the extra $500 regional 4x4 help.
The zip code kinda of stinks. I live in a small town with a small dealer so they don't deal very well. Was looking to get in a big market to get some competition going. Well I'll have to get creative on how I can get the best deal. Might have to use a family member to get a better deal. The other thing that helps me here is MT has no sales tax.
