Awesome TW mileage!!!!!!!!!!

well, i made a short trip after church this morning, to take the girlfriend to exchange some Christmas stuff that didnt fit. (OH BOY--SHOPPING! not.) well, i tested the mileage on this 80 mile trip. i filled up before i left home, and drove to lexington, with the chip on ECONOMY. i averaged 650-700# post-turbo running 80-85mph and 10 lbs of boost cruising up and down these hills around here, with the 4.10's and auto tranny. economy mode fetched me a whopping 23 MPG! i was amazed! so, on the way back i wanted to see what she'd get on Extreme. extreme rang in at 16.5ish mph. which is ok, seeing how i was running more like 85-90 and trying to puff smoke all the time, plus that includes some around-town and such. not bad eh?

anything u can do joe? when you turn it off and start back, it goes away, but it never misses a lick when it throws it. just the light, no loss of power, nothing but the light

yes they would bolt in and yes they would flow more then your stock ones....BUT..... they are split shots so look at what happens to the 02 truck with the 17* pump and imagine what will happen on your wore out 15* pump..........

ya, i know. thats my biggest concern. if i did the injectors, i'd be snagging a HPOP while i was at it. plus i could prolly say bye-bye to that 23 mpg too.

stage 1's and a 17* pump would make a very respectable truck. you would not lose any mileage with 1's as long as your driving habits dont change. they only flow more fuel when you command it.

i know, and i would command it. constantly lol. and i'd need an IC. i told dad he could quit bragging about his truck out running mine if i ever scraped up enough dough to go with stage 2's, IC, turbo, HPOP, and re-burn on the TW.

all you need to outrun him is tw tunes and stage 1's. then you should be able to inch past him or at least stay dead even

thats what i figured tim, cause with superchips on both trucks he only got 14 hwy.

and the tires are 305x70x16. i will have a longer trip today to check mileage even closer. i was running way up there around i think (dont hold me to this) 2800ish, but dont remember for sure, could be off. i'll get better results today (hopefully). im goin to see fte member cecilrauch in henderson, so will have about 4 hrs drive time ahead. my cousins having surgery up there, and cecil has some parts i need.
