ok, so i got a set of leafs the other day. they had to be torched out of the truck unfortunatley. anyways, when getting them out, my buddy who was torchin on his side told me that he figures im gonna have to buy a new set of bushings.... so i look at his side, he got to close and some how caught the bushing on fire, but never did anything to the springs.
so any ways, where can i get a new set of bushings??? does autozone have them? cuz i really dont want to use the old bushings out of my bad springs... any help please
Check your local parts store. Energy suspension makes polyurethane ones. I got mine from my local parts supplier. Just need to know the year and width of the springs

Uhhhh....
What the heck do you mean by "caught the bushing on fire"?
Singed on the surface or...
...burned out quite a bit of the rubber?
IME, the rubber bushings won't "burn" unless the steel surrounding
them is red hot. Catch on fire and singe the outside pretty good, yeah.
But burn bad enough to need replacing? Nope. :/
Glowing red in the pitch blackness = 750*F
Springs are typically drawn at less than that.
I'm not saying your springs are ruined or even weakened! :/

I used Black Energy Suspension purchased from their website.
Do yourself a favor and don't get the pretty colored ones they aren't
impregnated with graphite and are known to squeak to beat hell. ;)
ok, so if they were just "singed" by the flame coming off of them, then your saying they are still ok?? there isnt any rubber puddles on the springs or around the truck they came off of

--->You decide, you are the one seeing the situation first hand. :) <---
BTW, rubber doesn't tend to puddle. ;)
When it gets hot enough, it will disappear into smoke and gas instead.
Sometimes will swell up but poking at it will soon tell you if it's still good.
If the rubber is still there the springs are fine (like you said in the first
place) (I was just being a ninny) and you decide the value of replacing
them now or not. :)
I've replaced mine twice and both times after they were removed, realized
they were still in fine shape, inside where they couldn't be seen. YMMV
I never intend to sell my pickup and so it's silly for me to give cheap parts
like rubber bushings a chance to be a "weak link" especially when I had my
chance to change them out! :/
