Dwd To Swd

Just got a D60 dually front axle for my truck. After I get it in and switch over to 4X4 I would like to add some lift and big tires. I was wondering if I could use SWD rims on a dually front and rear axle without problems. I really dont want to mod the axles I have. If you want to see the look I am going for take a look at Briansshops truck.

Thanks

Your wheels and tires would be out 4 inches farther than normal if you use regular wheels.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you come up with a dually D60 front axle? I'm going to be looking for one myself.

Following up: AFAIK, the only difference between a SRW and a DRW front axle is in the hubs. You can swap the hubs and put the dually ones on EBAY.

Yes, the DRW is hub centered with a 4.88" pilot and 8 bolts on 6.5", the SRW is lug centric.

Just as a note, on a superduty, all wheels are hub centered and the pilot is bigger and the bolts are on 200mm

I've been running single on the rear of my DRW truck for 2 years now. I also picked up a D60 dually front and will be putting in shortly.

By the way, if you're thinking of getting rid of those dually hubs, let me know. There's a guy here at work that's looking for some.
