Pat, was that $ 199.98 for premium or standard hubs ? ,
I check my local NAPA and ADVANCE AUTO today and the both are asking $ 279.00 for premium and $ 179.00 for standard.
Also,What part # did you order. Thanks
I'd assume that's for the premiums. I paid around $180 for my premiums on the net because the local 4x4 place was quoting me those prices you mentioned.
Hubs are on, quick as quick.. ESOF is plugged.. Waiting to take my wife to get her car.. was playing inside of the truck trying to figure out why the KC's were not working, and found out my fuse wasnt working for the KC's.. I found this out because the wire started on fire under the dash, under the hood, and ect..with out blowing the fuse..The little burn marks in my hand are not as bad as I would have expected when I grabbed the wire and pulled it from the battery..
I guess I'll work on that a little more tomorrow....

For some unknown reason, I had the exact same issue. Not only the KCs, but air horns as well. My problem was wire size. Length x Distance was my issue. As a Sparky, I should have known better. My quick wire job turned into a should have fixed a long time ago job.
I am powering a couple of relays from the switches in side.. so it shuldnt have been a lenth and wire issue.. shouldnt have been. Unless those coils are pulling more then a 14 awg could handle.. wouldnt that suck..Haven found any witness marks where the wire may have shorted.. JUst damn happy I was in the truck when it happened..And yeah.. It gives me some some time to clean it all up..
