strange thing happend

i was driving my truck today, it had been running for about a hour and i was taking off from a stop sign at a steady speed and shifted into second and all the sudden the engine got twice as loud i would guess it was the injectors and it took off like a bullet. it never happend again, any ideas what that was all about.

When that happens on a 2-stroke you get to buy a new top-end....not sure on the diesel though :-)

Sounds like it might be a "glitch" in the high pressure oil regulation system that caused it to momentary go to maximum pressure.

May have been the throttle position sender acting up.

kinda what i was thinking because the injectors got so loud and it had a instant burst of power. the truck has a ts 6 position chip it was on the 75 horse setting.i guess i will not worry about it.
