It's replaceable, but I don't know the number. I had to replace mine and a friend of mine had ordered two when he needed one for a job. Pretty sure it was just from the dealer. i had a tough time getting the green condom off that colors it. If I remember, I'll ask if it was from the dealer.

A year ago two Ford dealers told me this was not a "serviceable" part and that I had to replace the switch assy at $45. I did some research and ended up with a decent solution.

In my 2002 F250 if you work the switch out of the panel you can use a simple flate blade screwdriver to remove the lamp in back ... it looks like a small LED .... I'd think the dealers would at least have the replacements

Its actually a small bulb, not an LED. And according to two Ford dealers I contacted, they do not carry that particular bulb.
Its not a "servicable part", so they say. This was true as of Dec 2007 so maybe its worth asking again....
