Well I would say it is because the truck isn't warm because then it wasn't all the way up to temp. But later today it kept doing it while I was in town (after driving 30 minutes) it did it a couple of times. It doesn't close all the way but just enough to bother you. It never did it last winter. I really like the system since I have the decel tune so I really don't want rid of it yet.

What are the temps outside today? Its in the teens here and my gauge dropped today sitting in traffic with the heat on low. Before the traffic, it was up to temp for around 30 minutes.
I had set at a redlight for about 4 minutes about 2 minutes before that started happening again. It was down to 5 today it was in the low to mid 20s in town.
For now I'd lean towards it being so damn cold outside. If it does it once its in the 30's, then there's probably something wrong. 15 quarts of oil probably takes more then an hour of driving to warm up enough to disable the EBPV from activating.
