should i take everything back off and check it again. the truck ran ok before i changed the glow plugs not sure what i could have done to change the performance?
finaly decided to take my truck to the shop last week. ran diagnostic test cylinders 3,5,7were not delivering fuel and only 2 glow plugs were found working they put on new wiring harness and valve cover gasket truck runs like brand new.
Thats really not that bad of a price the dealer I knew wanted a 150 bucks to put an injector in (150 to pull the VC). Thats a pretty good deal since that is including the parts the UVCH + gasket is 250-300 bucks and GPs are around 50.
i have a complicated question, my dad has a 1999 f-350 he went to work and notice oil leaking.it leaked 1 gal. of oil in 20 miles, he called me up to take a look we refilled the oil and didnt see no leaks but was blowing white smoke from the exhaust could that be an o-ring poblem on the pedistol? the oil that leaked was on the passenger side of the truck look like it squirted on the passenger side of hood and batt.and wheel well and the a/c were coverd in oil we sprayed it all of and started the truck but was not leaking? that we could see please help with some answers asap he wants me just to replace the o-rings under the turbo before i look for the leak.????? any ideas?
