Probably the fuel heater element. If you plug it into the side of the filter housing you might start popping fuses. Leave it unplugged, it's not needed.

Hey Jim... not sure what color the wire is but what about the wire with a 90 degree connector on the D side... plugs into the side of the FPR to measure vaccum/fuel restriction... wonder if he's talking about that one? I did away with my sensor and pipe plugged it.... sensor was leaking and WAY spendy to replace.

Unless you're a pay member, I dont think you can upload pics direct... I tried using the gallery but something went wrong with their java install to my machine and now every time I try to up load a pic to gallery... my Internet Explorer crashes....then I have to re log on and everything.... wonderful program huh?

a URL is a location on the web where you have images stored... like a gallery if you have one... or if you have your own website where you have a folder with pictures stored etc. They reserve direct uploads for people who have a paid premium membership with FTE. and even then you have a 20mb limit.

yup, its most likely unplugged because its shorted out. when that happens it blows fuse no 22 which results in a stalled motor and no start.

Just below the wire in the picture is a 1/8 NPT pipe plug that was used to replace a leaky fuel filter restriction sensor. That wire was for the sensor that you no longer have. Don't worry, it's nothing you need, it just reminds you that the filter is dirty and needs to be replaced. The sensor costs something like 30-40 bucks so it's common to replace it with a pipe plug.
