My 93 Broncos fuel pump has gone bad again instead of dropping the tank to replace it again i was thinking about putting a Inline MSD fuel pump on it what do you guys think? I know it can be done to a 95 Jeep GC with a 5.2 (mainly cause I have done it to mine) and theres a website with a writeup about it. Could and should this work on My BKO also thanks in advance
Correct, only in-tank pump on later models. As far as trying to use something aftermarket, you'll need to make sure you make all the plumbing changes to the tank. You'll need to have a feed line and a return line into the tank, and a filter somehwere in the line. You'll want the replacement to be adjustable, so you can tune in what your truck's needs are. The fuel pressure regulator is designed with OEM tolerances expected from the fule delievery system.
yea what im going to do is leave all the stock stuff in place and just throw an adjustable regulator in the line to make sure it sits around 40 psi (if i recall correctly), imma leave the stock filter in there and just swap in a clean one (been about 8000 miles or so so its time to change it in my opinion anyway)
