I have a 1959 Custom Cab F100. I have searched high and low for a replacement horn ring to no avail. I just came across a 1955 F100 for sale on eBay and noticed that the truck has the same steering wheel and horn ring as my '59. A photo can be seen at:eBay Motors: Ford : F-100 (item 170286799369 end time Dec-21-08 22:43:28 PST) Can anyone help me locate such a horn ring? Thanks, Paul
Several NOS ones have come up on EBay recently-and have sold at accordingly high prices. If you've got the do-re-mi,this might be your answer.I am also looking for a spare, though mine is in great shape.Have you placed an ad in the classified section?Click on the appropriate gray box near the top of the page.Steve.
Steve, would you happen to know the Ford part number for the horn ring? I have a good one (no breaks) that is in need of re-chroming. I am thinking that I can buy a new one for about the same cost...although I may be wrong as I often am! Thanks, Paul
Paul,I can't help with a part number.NumberDummy,,who will probably be along shortly, can though.I did win an EBay auction for a Custom Cab power steering truck horn ring.which I am saving to install on my '59 when I finally locate all the factory parts for the changeover. Now THAT is hard to find. You could wait a long time-or one could show up on the Bay tomorrow,so re-chroming yours might be best if you're in a hurry.
I found TWO of these NOS (new old stock) at a Ford obsolete parts vendor, email sent.

If you need a P/S horn ring, I know where several dozen are NOS (!). But....they are out of the box, and are pitted.
Col. Flashman and I went scrounging one day, found these NOS P/S horn rings at a salvage yard.
Steve: This is the same yard I mentioned to you inre to the Dana 60 and other stuff.
Not to hijack the thread, but N.D.,could you let me know also the whereabouts of the rings if they're still available?Paul,of course would get first "dibbs".I'm also looking for a nice custom cab steering wheel,or a NOS one.Thanks,Steve.

There are a few NOS wheels there, too...but I'm not sure what the condition is...they are white, btw.
I'm looking for a custom cab ring for my 60. It don't have to be perfect some pitting is ok. The one I have on it now has only one section of the outer ring.
