Joe get under the truck watch your clutch lever make sure it is moving enough.
While your under there make sure your trans doesn't move back it doesn't take much I have seen this happen several times with a cracked bellhousing.
If your not getting enough clutch movement time to look under the dash the holi in the rod going to the mastercylinder sometimes wears again it doesnt take much.
I have even had to replace the pedal assembly before because of too much wear does your pedal have much slack in it.
look under the dash the clutch lever is bran spanking newer not much slack but the cheack pont is towers the end i hav e a zf5 bell houseing and a zf5 how hard would be just to swap them and would my tcase match up to the zf5 and would the zf5 hold up to my tires and lift
If the zf5 was a 4x trans it would work not sure about the 2x4 trans though weather it would hold up depends on you. It still sounds like a clutch problem to me.
Joe he's talking about the plastic bushings in your pedal assembly very common for these to wear out and causing a little slack before it pushes the clutch rod again on these clutch settups it takes very little slack to cause problems.
