Ok, so i have ran the engine for like an hour twice, the smokes still there, not as much as before but still there buggin me, specially when i rev it. I checked the oil level and its still the same. Ive noticed also that smoke starts to come 5 mins after starting the engine, not right away. Im having 35 psi at hot idle which is good temps around 190 which is good also, im using 10w40 and running aprox 1/2 a quarter low to be on the good side. could oil cunsumtion be that low or is definitivle my engine aint burning oil??? It still buggs me. Ii have my headers welded to the rest of the exauhst so im gonna do a desperate test and cut them loose to see if the glasspacks are holding any oil... I know i will end up pulling a head (which i will hate to do), any ideas?

Also , when i had it as a 351m and tore it down it was a complete disaster on the insde, bad valve guides, bad seats, bad seals, broken rings and it didnt smoke as my newly built is smoking. I built a 351 w i had and before the rebuild it had also broken rings and no terrible smoke....

argggg

Bad rings and valve guides would cause smoking immediately.
