Its an exchange with bean's. Your only paying for the mod. They send you a modded IDM and you send them your working IDM. I would imagine there is a hefty core charge your are given back to ensure you return your working IDM
I'm gonna try it this weekend, I'll take pics along the way and post em up. I only wanna risk it tho if there really is a difference, could you tell a big difference Ron?
people claim better idle and throttle response. i would assume there is a gain in hp and torque. technicly there would have to be since you are supplying more voltage to the injector. how much? i couldnt tell you
It seemed to start much easier on just the GP's in this 10 deg weather....we have had a coat of snow since I put it back in so I could not tell you seat of the pants dyno test yet. We are getting hit with another storm tonight...so I would not be able to tell you anytime soon. But for the price of the resistor and 20 minutes labor the easier start is worth it
