Wink Smoked clearance lights??

I am kind of looking at getting my truck a couple of things for Christmas:
I am looking at the smoked cab clearance lights-(the plain ones on Ebay) and the smoked fender lights for the dually fender ones...anyone running these lights?? do the lights show through the smoked lenses ok?? Opinions?? Thanks!!

I am thinking the same thing. The only thing I have heard, is the fender lights slip out sometimes. That may be the installer's fault, but I have heard this a few times. I also think the fender light come with colored bulbs. I also think the cab lights come with bulbs too. I have been hearing a few bad things about the lights from Recon.

I have the recon cab lights and they did come with the orange bulbs. I have also heard some bad things about recon, but I have not had any problems with mine and they look great.

yes they show through. some of the kits come with bulbs but mine didnt so i had to buy some at autozone. the other thing you can do is get led's for the the top lights and just slightly bend them forward and they are alot brighter. as for the dually fender ones i have those too and hace never had a problem with them falling out you just have to make sure you get that little clip in there right. what color is your truck? mine is the charcoal gray so those fender lights really blend in perfect instead of sticking out like a sore thumb...

I've got them also. Mines a white dually and I think they blend into the truck way better than the orange and red lenses. Looks sleaker to me.

Anyway, I bought them off of ebay. The cab lenses are recon, but not sure on the fender lenses. I've had great luck with them. The fender lenses have stayed in just fine. If you install the retainer clip on the backside properly, then there shouldn't be a problem.

The came with colored bulbs to run, but I replaced all my bulbs, front to rear, head to toe with led's. The light shines through just fine. The ones I bought only illuminate at the end with a little sideways light output. On the cablights, I actually like the look better than 360* illumination. Goes back to the sleak look, I guess. I've got some pics somewhere of everything lit up, just need to find them.

I bought the smoked headlights and park lamps for the front and they show through just fine on those.

Don't have a dually or cab lights so can't really comment on how well those work though.
