SD wannabe

Was on the interstate this morning and saw one of the new Tundra's trying to be a SuperDuty. Had a 2 car hauler hitched up to the reciever under the bumper.

Had two small SUV's on it I guess about 2, 000 lbs each plus trailer, maybe total of about 6500 lbs.

Truck was sqatting like a 5,000 lbs load in the bed would and the bed and frame were bent. You could tell because the space between the bed and cab was not normal there was a big ole gap there. Boy is he gonna be upset when he see's that

If he's dumb enough to buy a tundra he probably won't know they aren't supposed to do that.

u guys ever see that 08 SD promo video comparing trucks..

once video showed the SD and all the other fullsize trucks going over a washboard road test..

the Tundra flexed and warped like a baloon in the wind..almost seemed as if the truck they tested had no frame at all..

i remember the Chevy gas tank door popped open like it had a auto release.. was a funny moment..

The frame will probably flex back when unloaded. But still I'd say he is about as bright as a burned out light bulb.

don't recall seeing that video, just the one where the Tundra was pulling 10K up this ramp and then down the other side while construction people were watching and in the back ground was superduties from the crew that put it together.

What kind of SUV's? Even an Escape weighs 3700lbs, Explorer's are around 6000lbs.
