we had a big freeze last night and after trying to roll my passenger window down, my door handle started moving in like someone was pulling it.. basically I think the window is off track and something has fallen down but to find out I need to remove the door panel.. Ive tried pulling up, pulling in, looking for screws and everything else.. I know theres got to be screws that need to be removed but I cant find any!! HELP!!
ive taken off the triangular piece at the top,and removed the screw there, ive take off the door handle and screw, but i dont see any other place... i took out the courtesy light but theres no screw in there..
yes, the courtesy light down low.. I popped the lens off and also popped out the light and plastic that holds it.. theres not a screw that i see, all i see is some type of plastic clip that you can barely reach.. I have taken the lock/window switch and do not see a screw in there either..
i see the screw inside of where the lock/window switch is but theres no way to get to it without taking off the armrest.. i dont see any way of taking off the armrest without tearing it up.. little help??
I did some looking around and found a few places that mention that a navigator door panel (unlike an expedition door panel) is held on by retaining clips behind the panel. They say that these panels have to be pried off.
