Nv5600

Does anyone know if someone makes an adapter plate to mount the NV5600 6speed transmission to a 7.3? I tried advance adapters but the had nothing on their website.

Why would you want one? New Venture quit making them years ago and quality parts are hard to find and expensive.

I always was considering this stuff.

From what I can tell, your best off just finding a ZF5.
That 6 speeds sounds great, but its about the same as a zf5.

well if the ZF6 is easier done than I will probably go with that. Got another truck and I am looking into it's an auto now, but trans is shot. So I'll be looking to put a 6spd in it.

The ZF6 would be a lot easier, Ford started using them behind a powerstroke in 99. Dodge started using the NV5600 behind the Cummins in 98

Well then why did you even bother to post? Like most threads that you join in you don't add any usefull information and about the only thing you accomplish is to derail the thread and increase your post count.
