2005, 150, Screw, FX4...I seem to have a chatter on the right side on my windshield (in that general area) that is only bad when I'm driving into a strong wind. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
Do you have a bugshield on your truck? That would be the culprit if it a certain kind and height. Mine has done it since day one after I put the bugshield on.
Yes, I installed the bug shield immediately after I purchased the truck so...I couldn't tell you if it would do it without. Was there anything that you did to stop the noise or do I just live with it? Thanks.

I live with it, and hood shakes some as well. I did take off the bugshield for about a week to confirm that it was causing the problem, but put it back on and roll down the road.
Yeah my bug shield does that to my wipers and my hood shakes. I like the way it looks and that it protects the hood so I'm just gonna live with it. I can't hear it over the radio or exhaust anyways.
It could be either the windshield cowl vibrating against the windshield, as this does come loose. Or the black rubber molding up over the top of the roof. Mine came loose and has caused a really annoying chatter.
Thanks Texas Pete! Once again I am amazed at the knowledge that is on this site and the time that people give to offer advice. I'm sure glad that I found the site.
