I have a 1978 ford f150 with a rebuilt 460. I am looking for a wiring harness that will just replace the stock one. i want to completely rewire. Does anyone sell one of these? if so, is there a link to it?
it is the most basic and the cheapest, but i have a few other things like a dome light and a lighter. i may add an electric fan and fuel pump later down the road. would it be better if i just bought the 24 circuit harness, instead of buying the 12 circuit and adding on to it?????? I dont really know what the future holds for that truck. any thoughts would be great....thanks
Only thought I would have is I don't like doing things twice....so if 12 is not enough get the bigger one and then you have no issues later on down the line.
You will need to call them and tell the guy what you want.
So it is a custom harness? so will they make it with the only circuits i want? What else will i need to buy to complete the wiring? sorry guys, my anxiety kicks in and i dont want to buy the wrong stuff, so i have a billon questions..........but when it comes to putin stuff together, thats where i excel.
The guy needs to know what year of steering column, if you have idiot lights or gauges, and if you are running duraspark ignition or DUI 1 wire, and if you are using a 1 wire alternator or not. He can also do whatever else you want if you need him too for an extra charge.
