Mine aint crap brown but its an off green 70's color for sure. Mine is 1 of 3 or 4 trucks known too exsistance in my county thats mint green like mine. I catch hell at least 3 times a week for the color and a comment every now and then. Like one guy said..At least it runs. Besides the more that breaks, the more that i paint black, the more black the better
F.Y.I. about those 70's(chrysler) Cuda colors.. pink panther, plum crazy purple and the green was SUBLIME. and i think grabber orange.

It's been repainted, prolly more than once.
It wasn't two stage paint (base coat/clear coat) originally, it was painted as all Ford's at that time were, in acrylic enamel.
A good wash job and a clay bar followed up by a good cleaner wax will do wonders for that paint.
DO NOT use a wax that contains silicone, or spray silicone anywhere near the paint.
Silicone will strip off the clear coat!!

SOMEBODY must have liked Brown... They sold a lot of trucks! When I first bought my truck I was not a fan of Brown, but after washing and waxing it, the metallic brown just glistens in the sun! It does not, however photograph well. Now I like the color and plan on re-painting it back to original with the White roof accent as the VIN states. To each his own I suppose.
Cheers, (and don't forget to flush!)
