Truck Acting up-Codes
My truck has been acting up got some codes today, they are
P0603-something to do with a control module-Is that because of Chip?
p0236-Turbo boost sensor error?
p1728-Trans Slip Conv.
Had it scanned at Transmission shop my buddy owns. TC would not lock up. Tried overiding it and manually locking it up, still nothing. Just showed 0% lock-up. Just had it rebuilt in July- but it's on them. They seem to think it might be the check valve in the pump? Or even the solenoid pack. Any help here with any of these codes would be helpful thanks.

well you seem to have answered your own question....lol the 603 is fine with the chip. normal to have it appear.
the 236 is probably an overboost code since you have the tw and stage 2's.
the 1728 means your injectors and tunes toasted your new tranny and it needs to go back in the trans shop that just rebuilt it.

No set number cause there really isn't a technical code for just overboost. The PCM just sees a number it doesn't like.

Its just too temperamental.....Won't work if its not plugged in, gotta be perfectly cleaned to get a chip in, Turning all sorts of lights on.....Stinking silver spoon brat!

the funny thing is that that trans has not overheated. never got above 150 on my temp gauge. We dropped the pan and it was clean.

DDW Transmission, not a big shop, but I have known them for awhile. Another buddy of mine took his 01 SD there a few years ago, and he's running big sticks and has a chip and he also beats the heck out of that truck and has never had any problems with his. I have been taking it easy on mine... what the heck? lol At least it's warranty.
