What Double-DIN do i use?

I have a 2003 F-350 Lariat edition. I am looking for an Double-DIN in dash player. When i go to look for them for my model truck it says that nothing is compatible. Does anyone know how big the opening is? I currently have the stock 6 disc changer in there. Any ideas?

Your opening is not truly double din sized, that is why they all tell you it won't fit. However with a little bit of trimming to the top and bottom edges of the radio opening you can make a double din radio fit and still put back the factory radio if you ever need to (and you won't be able to see any difference). I installed a Kenwood DDX-6019 in my 99 F250 and it worked and looked great. I used a install kit from a 2000 Explorer to make the radio attach to the main dash plastic piece. If you need any other details ask away and I or some of the other members here will try to help.
