TTB and Solid dana 44 interchangability

TTB and Solid dana 44 interchangability
Will the gears from a ttb work in a solid?
Im pretty close to finishing my sas and for now I want the same gears as my 8.8 til I can find some 8 bolt rims for the right price cause I have d60 that I will throw in the rear. My solid d44 is 8 bolt too but im gonna swicth it to 5 til I find rims. There isnt a problem with switching from 8 to 5 bolt from the ttb is there? I know the 8 bolt spindal a little is longer but thats all I know
