Starting problem???
My 2000 v10 superduty 4x4 cc auto trans is giving me fits when starting. Sometimes it will start in park and other times i have to shift it to nuetral to get it to start? any ideas what the problem might be?? wiggling he shifter does nothing i have to phyiscally shift it to neutral....

On the driver's side of the tranny you have what Ford calls the DTR or Digital Transmission Range sensor. That's a fancy name for what we used to call the neutral safety switch.
Check the wiring going to the switch, and then you possibly may have to replace it.
