Crankshaft?

Hello to all,

What is a safe limit for having a crankshaft turned?

0.040" is the safe limmit

I'm not sure about going more than .020 but if done right with a chamfer on the edges it's stronger.

Never gone more than 0.020

i had a 351m crank turned 0.040 no problem there...

I kinda think why, one is the bearing measurment and the other?
