im looking into lowering kits for my F150... its a reg cab reg box '06 and i wanna drop it this spring... 2/4 or maybe a 3/5... looking for opinions of lowerings kits.... i have seen prices range from $299 to $1000+... im sure there are benefits to some and negatives to others... any help is greatly appreciated
I have an 04 heritage reg. cab that I lowered 2" front and 7" rear. It has a nice forward tilt to it now. The kit I used was an Eibach and was purchased from autoanything.com.It was an easy installation( with some minor problems
I don't know if this will help on you're model. Maybe it can point you in the right direction.

7" in the rear???? dam thats a big drop... i appreciate the help.... any problems occur during the install... anything to watch for during or before the drop?
the only problem I had was cutting and removing the rivet's that held the front hangers on rear springs, now that was a bitch. as the seven " drop in the rear. before I lowered it the tail gate came to to my upper chest and I'm 6'2".I sure like the slight fordward look now.

It has not changed the ride that much, I take it slow over deep dips in the road as the front bumper is real close to the ground,I hav'nt scraped it yet, just caucious.and I watch parking to close to high curbs because I'm
afraid I will hang it up. The only problem with the rear has been the tail pipes will drag if I'm not real carefull. If you e-mail me I will send you a picture of it. my email . manning5812@sbcglobal.net
As far as wheel alignment , I had it checked and the only change was correcting the toe and and leveling the steering wheel back up. I have a 17' bass boat I pull and so far have not had any problems other than having to turn my hitch upside down to raise the trailer coupler to keep it from draging in my drive way. Oh! yes my wife thinks it looks silly, but who cares.
