engine prob, runs rough sometimes - MA

engine prob, runs rough sometimes - MA

have a 1987 250, starts up fine, idles fine, if i drive easy and slow it runs fine. when i accelerate and try to go faster truck runs "rough". dont know what it is, have yet to look in depth at it. possible fuel trouble, distrib., or cylinder! any suggestions PLEASE let me know.......thanks wflynn2@student.fsc.edu

Hi flynntyme, hm mm, it sounds like some how you have a dodge motor in your truck.
Just kidding, a neighbour has a dodge with the very same problem.
Since you`ve found the 1987 - 1996 F150 And Larger F-Series Trucks you`ll get some answers.
