1st Timer from Ma.

This is my 1st attempt at a web site for information. Be gentle, this being my first time and all. I am transplanting a RAnger 2.9L into a kit car and will be needing advice. Thanks Danny

...while you're at it, why not check out the New England Regional threads and join our chapter??? Lot's of great guys and gals...very active group...we meet monthly for some chit chat...various activities...lots of **** busting.

Doesn't cost anything to join...no obligation to attend GTGs...pick and choose the ones you might like to attend...or not attend.

Thanks Ken, I will go and join the NE group. I am in Leominster. I purchsed a '90 Ranger with a 2.9L engine and auto trans. I took the engine and trans and wiring etc out to transplant it into a kit car. The problem I have is that I didn't realize how much work I had to do to get the electronics (beyond what I know) to operated. So, someone told me my best bet was just to go to a carb system and not fool with the injection system. I wouldn't know where to bring it where they wouldn't soak me for a lot of time figuring it out the injection wiring for me. I am capable of installing the motor etc. but haven't a clue about injections/brains etc. Ken, is there a manifold and carb setup I could use for that engine? Also I would like to put headers on it so as to save some space. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks for your time, Ken. Danny
